Ethel Miller

Ethel Mae Littles Miller, the daughter of the late Henry and Lousie McCall Littles was born on January 20, 1927 in Bennettsville, SC.

Ethel Mae was educated in the public schools of Marlboro County. She was converted at an early age and became a member of Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church. She was on various auxiliaries including senior and mass choir, usher board, former pastor’s aide, missionary and kitchen committee.

Ethel Mae loved to travel, she enjoyed family functions and being with family. Dressing and cooking were her passions.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late Nicodemus Miller Sr.

On February 3, 2017 she departed her life in the comfort of her home. She is preceded in death by six children and twelve siblings.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories four daughters Carol Adams of Jamaica, New York, Clara Sellers of Bennettsville, SC, Bessie Miller of Bluefield, WV, Patricia Bostic (Paul) of Bennettsville, SC; one son Nicodemus Miller Jr. (Marlene) of Bennettsville, SC; a daughter-in-law Bobbie Adams of Spartanburg, SC; a son-in-law John Emanuel of Bennettsville, SC; thirty beautiful grandchildren; ninety sweet great grandchildren; fourteen caring great-great grandchildren; two sisters Wilma Smith of Bennettsville, SC and Helen Grace of High Point, NC; a special nephew Jimmy Cook and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
