Flen Purvis Jr.

On Monday, February 19, 2018, Mr. Flen P. Purvis, Jr., passed away peacefully at McLeod Hospital in Florence, S.C.  He was the son of the late Flynn and Eloise Purvis. He was married to the late Naomi P. Purvis. He leaves to mourn his children, Cassandra (Arno) Frost, Melvin Purvis, Sherry (Charles) Abram and Melissa Purvis seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild, sisters, Katrina Purvis and Demetria (Joel) Thomas and a host of other family and friends.

A wake will be held on Friday, February 23rd at St. Beulah Baptist Church in Bennettsville, South Carolina, from 6pm to 9pm. Funeral services will be held  on Saturday, February 24 , 2018 at 10am at the Berea Baptist Convention Center, 1062 Hwy 38 South, Bennettsville SC. Viewing will be from 9am to 9:45 am. The interment will follow in the Ideal Cemetery in Bennettsville.
