James Edward Morrison Jr.

James Edward Morrison Jr.  was born February 14th, 1968 to Geraldine Bridges and James E. Morrison Sr. He departed this life at Wake Medical Hospital in Raleigh, NC on April 20th, 2017 surrounded by his family and prayers of many friends.

Educated in the public school system of South Carolina, he graduated from Bennettsville High School in 1986 and immediately enlisted with the United States Air Force. After basic training at Lackland AFB in July 1986, he was stationed at Oviano Air Base in Northeastern Italy. He married his high school sweetheart, Tracy Williams in January of 1988.

James returned to the U.S. in the fall of 1988 where he then worked in various industrial fields from the furniture industry of Harnett County, to Popz USA of Bennettsville, SC.

A lifelong member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (Tatum, SC), he accepted Christ in his life as a teen. He enjoyed ushering and attending bible study when able.

James leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Tracy, daughter Synquis (Reginald) Morrison, and son Desmond, his sisters: Annette Crump, Deborah Foxworth, Janice Morrison, and Stephanie Morrison of the home, three grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
