John W Allen

John Allen was born on July 3, 1942 to the late Mr. James and Nellie Davis Allen of Marlboro County.

He lived in South Carolina his entire life. He retired from Palmetto Brick Yard Company after 45 years of services.

He was converted early in life at Saw Mill Baptist Church. John Allen was so kind hearted and loving to everyone. He never met a stranger with a outgoing spirit. He is truly going to be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories are his loving daughters, Darlene (Henry) Taylor, Rosalind Pressley of Bennettsville, SC, Mildred Allen of Cheraw, SC, Nicon (Allan) of Cheraw, SC; sons, Jerry and Darryl of Baltimore, MD; sisters, Angela Lewis of Ocala, FL, and Glendora (Thomas) Johnson of Bennettsville, SC; brothers, Luther (Sarah) Allen of Bennettsville, SC, Lawrence (Janice) Allen of Selma, NC; in laws, Diane (Charlie) Pate of Bennettsville, SC, James Pate of Bennettsville, SC; a very special friends, Carrie Lemon of Bennettsville, SC and Allan Hancock, and a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 311 J. Pledger Lane, Bennettsville.
