Marilyn Dupree

Today we gather for a Celebration of Life Ceremony for Ms. Marilyn Dupree, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Her life began on September 08, 1964 in Blenheim South Carolina; the daughter of the late Plas Peterkin and Clara Mae Thompson. Marilyn accepted Christ at an early age and joined Cedar Fall Missionary Baptist Church.

She departed her life on December 01, 2016. Left to cherish her memories are three children: Shanesha Dupree, Derrick Dupree and Issac Jermaine Brand all of Bennettsville SC; Three sisters: Geraldine (Larry) York of Bennettsville SC, Flora Coretta Peterkin and Deidra Peterkin both of Fayetteville NC; Five brothers: Jack (Leola) Dupree, Willie Otis Dupree both of Bennettsville SC, Melvin Peterkin of Fayetteville NC, Blake Lynch of Oklahoma City and Steve Peterkin of Fayetteville, NC; four grandchildren: Larry Thomas, Tremell Bethea, Kara Brand and Destiny Bethea all of Bennettsville SC, Stepmother: Ms. Pecolia Peterkin; special friend: Calvin Purvis; special Cousin: Ms. Grace Warney and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
