Mildred Hayden

Mrs. Mildred Anne Hayden Jackson daughter of Pauline Hayden was born on July, 12, 1948 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She transitioned into her eternal life Monday, September 18, 2017 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC.

Mildred was educated in the public school system of New Orleans, LA. She was a faithful employee in the hospitality industry in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Her love for people was demonstrated through the joy she had in cooking for her family and friends. As her health began to decline, Mildred relocated to Clio, S.C. in 2014 where her son and daughter-in-law lovingly served as care givers until she departed this Earth to be with the Lord.

She leaves to cherish her legacy are her beloved and dedicated husband, Herbert Jackson; her only son, David and wife Tiffany Hayden, all of the home. Five grandchildren: David Jr., Angela, Davi'Yuana, Tiana of Clio, S.C., and Shadecquia of Conway, S.C.; seven great­grandchildren. Special friends whom she adored: Shirley Townsend Young, Vivian Thomas, Joyce Brown, Robin Gibbs, and Randolph Hudson. In addition to her adoration for her friends, she held a special place in her heart for a very special little canine that would always come by to visit her and brighten her day, "Chenelle Thomas" and a host of other family and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 205 Calhoun Street, Clio.
