Peggy Jean Thomas

Peggy Gary Thomas, daughter of the late Sylvia Ann Stanfield and the late John Henry Gary, was born on June 30, 1967 in Cheraw, SC. She departed this life on February 26, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Peggy attended the public schools of Marlboro County.

To her family, Peggy was energetic, fashionable, phenomenal, and exquisite.

Her outgoing personality shines bright when she entered any room. Her character fell nothing short of a Diva.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, father, two sisters, and one brother.

Those left to cherish her memories are: her children Brittany Williams of Fayetteville, NC, JoeCobie Gary of San Diego, CA; seven sisters, Rhonda and Cynthia Gary of Wallace, SC, Gloria Gary of a Hamlet, NC, LaTonya Lowe (Keith) of Chesterfield, SC, Jennifer Davis (Steven) of Laurinburg, NC, Crystal Gary of Hamlet, NC, LaTonya Drake of Bennettsville, SC; one brother, John Gary (Verneil) of Cheraw, SC; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close relatives, and friends. She also leaves behind a very close friend Raymundo Guerrero of Fayetteville, NC.
