Wanda Campbell

Wanda R. Campbell was born in Bennettsville, SC on December 20, 1971 to Shirley Campbell Watson.  She entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC after an illness. 

Wanda attended the public schools in Marlboro County and completed in June 1992.  She was raised from birth by her grandparents, Joe and Rosa Lee Campbell who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by a special aunt, Joe Ann Campbell.

Wanda was converted at an early age and joined the New Spring Hill Baptist Church in Blenheim, SC.  She worked for many years at the Olive C. Graham Center and built many lifelong friendships.  She loved music and her rambunctious laughter would quickly fill a room.

Left to cherish her memories are: her mother, Shirley Campbell Watson; sister, Veronica Watson; brothers, Ronald (Christen) Watson, Jr., and Gregory Watson; niece, Charisma Watson; nephew, Ronald III ; great-nieces, Aubrey and Denim; aunts, Edgenora, Dianne, Dorothy, and Iris all of Bennettsville, SC; uncles, William (Ann) of Brooklyn, NY, Johnny (Dorothy) of High Point, NC, Michael (Helen) of Bennettsville, SC, Roosevelt (Joyce) of Brooklyn, NY, Frank (Cheryl) of Brooklyn, NY, James of Bennettsville, SC, and Calvin (Ella) of Bennettsville, SC; two great aunts, Lucille Harrison of Blenheim, SC and Ethel Lee Campbell of Virginia Beach, VA; great-uncles, Robert Campbell of Brooklyn, NY and Wilson (Cheryl) Campbell of Gloucester, VA, a special childhood buddy, William Adams,  and a host of cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 142 Carl Jean Street, Bennettsville.
