Albert Ocean

Albert Ocean was born March 8, 1955 in Blenheim, SC to Clara Ocean Dupree and the late James Thompson. Albert passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at McLeod Hospital in Dillon, SC.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Albert received his formal education at Blenheim High School and soon after school he began working at Boro Woods for seven years and later moved to Rogers Farm for several years until his health failed.

In 1978, he married Annie Moore and their union was blessed with two daughters, Vera Moore and Dorothy Ocean; one son, Ricky Ocean.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of forty years, Annie Moore Ocean; two daughters, Vera Moore and Dorothy Ocean; one son, Ricky Ocean; three sisters, Gloria Jean Brown, Geraldine and Rebecca Ocean; eight grandchildren; son-in-law, Andrew Blue; three sisters-in-law, Betty (Willie) Evans, Cynthia Moore, and Shirley Townsend; one aunt, Annie Mae Ocean; special friends, Alexander Townsend and Leroy Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives ,and friends.
