Antuwan McRae Obituary

Antuwan Dannell McRae Known as “Boss “to those who loved him dearly was born to Winnie M. McRae and the Late Charles Palmer in Bennettsville, SC on April 29, 1982.

Antuwan attended Marlboro County High School where he was  a graduate of the class of 2001. He was a joy to all his friends and brought laughter to all.

Antuwan joined the United States Army after High School, after leaving the Military Antuwan attended Cosmetology School in Florence SC. Later in life Antuwan joined New Birth Outreach Church in Dillon, SC

Antuwan was light that shined in his family and was loved by all.

He leaves to cherish his mother Winnie M. McRae and one Brother Ron (Audrey) McRae all of the home, one special aunt who did an outstanding job caring for Antuwan during his illness until his passing Mary McRae (Lee) of the home. His uncles Bishop Nathaniel (Queen) Emporia VA. JR (Pearlene) Dupree, Freddie (Sara) McRae Rev. Hamer (Ethel) McRae and Dewitt McRae all of Clio, SC. James (Henrietta) McRae of Wallace SC and Charles McRae of Upper Marlboro MD. His Aunts Christine Johnson of Patrick SC, Creola McIntyre and Mary McRae (Lee) Of Clio SC Carrie Sumler of Upper Marlboro MD, special aunt that help raised Boss, Margaret Roberts whom he affectionately called “Shug” and Emma (AL) Bryant all of Dillon SC.one great aunt Hessie M. Poe of Bennettsville, SC. One God Brother Justine McQuel Bailey of Clinton SC two god sisters Valmega McRae of Charlotte NC and April Johnson of Cheraw SC a very dear friend of the family who was always there to help Tina Davis of Clio SC a host of cousins and friends who loved Antuwan unconditionally.
