Brenda Johnson Obituary

Ms. Brenda Louise Johnson was born to the late Ulysses & Annie T. Johnson on February 19th, 1960 in Marlboro County, S.C.

Brenda attended Clio High School, where she was a well-known standout in sports such as basketball & softball. She was also known for her great work ethic as well, until being slowed by an illness suffered in recent years and even then, she continued to display a will for being independent.

She was also known for her attendance at other local churches, as she had a great love for gospel singing. Brenda, or "Duck" as she was affectionately called, will be missed by many in the local community.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Troy & Charles.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Devon Johnson of Charlotte, NC.; three brothers, Willie McKinnon (Darlene) of Bennettsville, S.C., James Edward  Johnson, Ulysses Johnson both of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Carolyn Johnson (Charles) of Columbia, S.C. and Francine McLeod of Richmond, Va.; two uncles, James O. Johnson (Annie Lou) and Leon McCall both of Clio, S.C.; family friends Sallie Frazier, Larry McFall & Martha Johnson of Clio, S.C. along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends within the Clio community.
