On Wednesday God plucked from the garden of life. He sent His angels from heaven into the garden of life with a request for one “special rose” Cassie David.
Cassie Bingham David the daughter of the James Cobby Bingham and Lizzie Thomas was born March 24, 1937 in Marlboro South Carolina. Her husband John David proceed her in death. As a young woman Cassie moved to Baltimore, MD where she work as a Teacher and also at the Good Will after retirement she relocated to Bennettsville, South Carolina.
Cassie join St. Mark Baptist Church where she attended until her health fell her.
Cassie received her education from the public schools of Marlboro County. She also went to college and received her degree in Early Child Development.
Those left to cherish her memories are three step sons, Willie (Martha) David, JD (Willie Mae) David Mark Ellerbee all of Bennettsville, SC,; two step daughters, Maratha Gaddy of Charlotte, NC and Sarah Crump of Harrisburg, PA; three brothers, Robert Bingham, John Bingham, Charles Bingham all of Bennettsville, SC; one sister, Henrietta Allen of Philadelphia, PA; three sisters-in-law, Mae Drakeford, Courine (Mack) Sellers both of Bennettsville, SC, Viola David of Baltimore, MD; two brother-in-law, Thomas (Anna) David of Bennettsville, SC, Henry (Debbie) David of Queens, NY; fifteen grandchildren; one special granddaughter, Tonya Bradford; twenty-three great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one special niece, Virginia Burrell and a host of other nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 801 West Main Street, Bennettsville.
