Mrs. Johnnie Mae Nichols Anderson, daughter of the late Thomas and Eula Mae Nichols was born September 21, 1951 in Marlboro County, SC. She departed this life December 13, 2019 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC after a long battle with cancer.
Johnnie Mae was a loving caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She was known for her passion for flowers and opening her hike to care for others.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ulysses Anderson, Jr., and sisters-in-law, Mary Anderson Quick and Margie Anderson.
Mrs. Anderson leaves to cherished her memories with her two sons: Timothy Anderson of the home, Tony Anderson of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren and great grandchildren; four sisters: Thomasina Jones, MaryAnn Nichols, and Maxine Nichols all of High Point, NC, Evette Jan of Greensboro, NC; two brothers: Julius Nichols of Greensboro, NC and George Nichols of High Point, NC; brother-in-law Bruce Anderson; seven aunts; two uncles; a special niece, Carolyn Jones of Greensboro, NC, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 117 Calhoun Street, Clio.
