Luther Tyrone McQueen

 Luther T. McQueen (Popeye) Passed away on November 21, 2019 at his residence in Bennettsville, South Carolina.

Luther was born in Marlboro County on December 22, 1957. He is the son of Luther and Sarah Allen. He attended the public schools of the Marlboro County School District.

Luther was employed by Marco Manufacturing company until his health declined. He was always full of joy and laughter and never met a stranger.

He is survived by four daughters and one son; Demetria Purvis, Sharon (Vondrea) Johnson, Shirlene (Tyrone) Taylor, Sayboro McQueen, and Tyrone (Shalaya) Moore. Siblings Elliot McQueen, Thomas (Nellie) Allen David Allen all of Bennettsville, South Carolina. Nine Grandchildren, and a very special and dedicated sister Jacqueline (Tommy Adams) Adams and a host cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
