Ronald Lee Quick

Ronald Lee Quick was born November 15, 1957 in Bennettsville, SC to the late Clyde and Willie Mae Quick. He peacefully drifted into the sunset of Heaven in the early morning of June 6, 2018 where he was surrounded by his loving children and siblings.

After completing high school, Ronald left Bennettsville and moved to Columbia, SC where he received a bachelor degree in Business Management from Benedict College in 1981. It was there that he met his former wife, Shirley Quick also of Columbia and they soon started a life of their own.

Ronald was the loving father of five beautiful blessings who loved him dearly and unconditionally. He had a bright smile and loving and caring ways and because of that he was loved by everyone he came across. There was never a dull moment and his love was ALWAYS REAL!  as he would say "Don't Worry About Me" a and that's just how Ronald lived his life...His Way!

Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memory his children LaValen Quick (Ashley) of Columbia, SC, Clyron Quick (Megan) of Los Angeles, CA, Brian Quick (Michelle) of Ashburn, VA, September Jenkins of Columbia, SC and Deja Jenkins of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Sean Quick-Streeter of Springfield, VA, Coby Quick-Fisher and Cori Quick-Fisher of Columbia,SC, Cali Brielle Quick and Jaiden McKnight Quick of Ashburn, VA; siblings, Kelvin "Cal" Quick of Bennettsville, SC, Barbara Hooker of Bennettsville, SCV, Laurastine "Beenie" Thomas (Keith) of Sumter, SC, Willie "Link" Quick (Julia) of Bennettsville, SC and  Cliff Quick (Cynthia) of Bennettsville, SC; a dear friend Diane Stubbs of Bennettsville, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2pm at Berea Baptist Convention Center in Bennettsville. Interment will follow in the Ideal Cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the residence, 112 Court Street, Bennettsville.
