Albert Garner, the son of late Edward and Roxie Anna Garner, was born on March 15, 1956 in Marlboro County.
He attended St. James Freewill Holiness Church where he gave his life to the Lord. Apostle Nellie Mae McLeod, Pastor in Bennettsville, SC.
Albert was employed with many work places throughout his lifetime. HK – Porter, United, Tech (Essex), City of Bennettsville, Sopakco, Sonoco in Hartsville, SC, worked with State Maintenance and the Marlboro County School District.
Albert also attended school at Bennettsville High here in Bennettsville, SC.
Albert was married to Annie Mae Rogers on November 7, 1975. To this union, three sons were born.
On October 29, 2020 at McLeod’s Hospital, in Dillon , SC, he departed this life.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward and Roxie Anna Garner.
Albert leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Annie Mae Garner, and three sons, Terrence Lemont of Atlanta George, Albert Jr. of Lithonia, Georgia, and Edward Marcus of Bennettsville, SC. Three brothers, Paul (Clara), George Russell (Kim) both of Bennettsville, SC, and Isaiah (Nicole) of Snellville, Georgia. Six Sisters, Anna Quick (Charles), Odessa Grace (Ronnie), and Janice (Dwayne) Smith, all of Bennettsville SC; Rosa Wright (Noward) of Fortmills SC, and Barbara Reed (Zachery) and Patricia Williams from Columbia SC. His sisters- in- law, Beverly Bridges, Amanda Thompson, and Donna McCall all of Bennettsville, SC. Brothers- in- law, Dec. Michael McColl (Betty) of Bennettsville, SC, Dwayne Rogers (Carol) Jones of Georgia. His aunts Apostle Nellie Mae McLeod from Bennettsville, SC, Margaret McRae of Newark, NJ, Janie Garner of Columbia, SC, and Lennie Mae Brown of Laurinburg, NC. Two uncles, Danny Mason of Charlotte, NC and Calvin Mason of Laurinburg, NC. Nine grandchildren and one great grand. A special god daughter Kamia Pratt. A special nurse Sharon Covington. A host of other relatives and friends.
