Albert Witherspoon

Mr. Albert Walter Witherspoon was born in Marlboro County, SC on December 11, 1942. To John Walter Witherspoon and Blanche Nettle Witherspoon.

Albert slipped quietly away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Creekside Manor in Kernersville, NC.

Albert accepted Christ at an early age and joined Cedar Fall Missionary Baptist Church in Blenheim, SC. He attended Wright High School in Blenheim, SC. Later he moved to High Point, NC early in the 1960’s. He worked at KW Cafeteria for many years before his health declined

Those who journeyed on before him; his father, John Walter Witherspoon; one brother, Morris Witherspoon; one sister, Michell Campbell; two uncles, Zannie Witherspoon and Thomas Witherspoon.

Those who remained to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Blanche Nettle Witherspoon; four brothers, James (Mary) Witherspoon of Bennettsville, SC, John Witherspoon, Elijah Witherspoon, and Zannie Witherspoon all of High Point, NC; three sister, Brenda Witherspoon Nelson of Bennettsville, SC, Debra Witherspoon (Cyrus) Bittle, and Martha Witherspoon (Willie James) Breeden all of High Point, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
