Albertha Streeter Obituary

Albertha Belton Streeter was born March 28, 1944 to the late Reverend Edward Belton and Susie White Belton. She was born at Harlem Hospital, New York City.

Albertha and her family moved from New York City at the age of eleven to Passaic, NJ. She attended the Passaic School system until 1961. She then married David E. Streeter in March 31, 1962. Albertha and David would have been married for 58 years on March 31, 2020; there were bless with three children,

Living in NJ she attended Roger Williams Baptist Church until she moved to Bennettsville, SC in December 2003 and joined Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Clio, SC in 2004 and later joined Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church in 2008, Pastor James E. Smith; she loved her church family.

Albertha was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Edward Belton, Sr. and Susie White Belton, brother, Charles Belton, and Sister Dorothy Cunningham.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, David Streeter; children, David E. Streeter of Florence, SC, Donna Hines of Laurinburg, NC, and Dawn S. Muldrow of Florence, SC; six grandsons, David III, Joshua, Benjamin, Malcolm, Brandon, and Davon; one granddaughter, Joselyn; four great grands, David IV, Gabrielle, De’Arius, Kaveion. two sisters and four brothers, Betty Jean Robinson of Paterson, NJ, Janice Colon of Paterson, NJ, Edward Belton, Jr. of Passaic, NJ, Wesley and Tracy Belton of Passaic, NJ, Ronnie Belton of Passaic, NJ; two aunts, Annie B. Cook of Camden, SC and Vernell Henry Nelson of PA; a host of nieces; including two special nieces Nikkeah Belton who she loved dearly and Trina Morales; nephews, cousins, many friends including best friends, Georgia Gumby and Rose Douglas.
