Obituary

Alexander Adams, 67, gained his wings on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

Alexander was born on October 29, 1954, in Marlboro County. He was the son of the late Doretha Adams and Willie Adams.

Alexander was educated in the public schools of Marlboro County.

While living in North Carolina Alexander worked for the city of High Point. After relocating back to South Carolina, he worked for Becker Minerals Company for several years before going into the logging business with his uncles.

Alexander was preceded in death by his mother; Doretha Adams, one brother; Ray Charles, two sisters; Margaret Adams and Carrie Lee Bacote-Leggett, and one son; Terrance D. Clark.

He leaves to cherish his memories; seven children; Michael (Barbara) Brockington of Rocky Mount, NC, Tonya Adams of Nashville, NC, Melanie Thomas of Bennettsville, SC, Lashica (Thurman) Cassidy of Chesapeake, VA, Victoria and Pamela Ocean of Blenheim, SC, Lashawna Ocean of Columbia, SC. Two brothers; Willie (Hattie Mae) Adams of Wallace, SC and Albert Kenny Adams of Sanford, NC. Five sisters; Katie Coleman of Blenheim, SC, Gloria Jean Adams of Charlotte, NC, Emma Jane Adams of Fayetteville, NC, Isadora McRae of Wallace, SC, and Diane (Patrick) Broddy of Laurinburg, NC, One uncle; Willie Evans Brown and one aunt; Ella Brown both of Bennettsville, SC. Twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
