Anthony Evans

Anthony Evans the son of the late James U. Evans Sr. and the late Sarah P. Evans was born February 11, 1974 in Bennettsville, SC. He entered rest December 6, 2020 at his home.

He attended MCHS in Bennettsville, SC and received his GED class of 1992. He worked at Scotland Manufacture and Oak River.

He accepted Christ as his personal savior at a later age and joined Pentecostal Holiness Church in McColl, SC.

He supported his Carolina Panthers team and he loved to go fishing, playing cards, and his music you can hear from down the block.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Evans.

Left to cherish his memories are brothers, James U. Evans, Jr. (Chinetha Tedda) of Charlotte, NC and Paul Benthall of Atlanta, GA. Sisters, Linda Evans of McColl, SC, Kimberly Evans of McColl, SC, Annett Evans of Laurinburg, NC, and Carletha Erlene McNealy (Ja’Riques James McNealy) of Fayetteville NC. Two special cousins Big Michael Norman and Little Michael Norman; two special friends, Jonas Pritt, and Lonnie Davis. A Loving friend Patricia Clark. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
