Arthur Easterling (Sobek, Gator, Little Bear, Bobby) was born on June 2, 1941 in Hebron community in Marlboro County. He attended and graduated East Side High School. After completion of high school Bobby pursued his career path as a professional truck driver, in which he drove for companies such as Mercury and Jevic Transportation INC. from which he retired.  Bobby passions were his family, travel, farming, and of course shopping for fine suits. He enjoyed gathering with family and friends. He was the life of every family function. He loves to see his family laughing and just enjoying life.

He was a member of Spears United Methodist Church and after the church merger he became a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Bobby had a higher understanding of biblical teachings.
