Barbara McKinnon Obituary

Barbara Ann Campbell McKinnon was born on February 11, 1964 to the late Bessie Mae Campbell & Hamp Williams Jr. She departed this life on March 2, 2020.

In addition to her parents, Barbara Ann was preceded in death by her brothers Wilbert  "Jack" Campbell, James Lee Campbell, Ervin Williams, and Larry Williams; sisters Mary Campbell, Addie Lee Bridges, and Elizabeth Lynch.

Barbara was educated in Marlboro County when she graduated in 1982.  She then was employed by Sara Lee until they closed in 1997, she then started her nursing assistant profession in Scotland County which lead to her current jobs working in home healthcare services at Rainbow 66 Storehouse and We Care for You where she loved her patients dearly.  She always had a smile on her face and she loved life. She was always willing to help others.  She will leave a lasting memory especially with her "CATO" fashion.

Barbara Ann leaves to cherish two beautiful daughters, Latoya Vontrell McKinnon of Laurinburg, NC and Chassidy Yvette McKinnon of Charlotte, NC. God daughter Kia Spears of Columbia, SC Three grandchildren Shyheim Jy'Kee Lloyd, Zani'Ya Mi'Yana Monroe, and Baby Judah on the way.  Special friends Thomas Teal and Betty Spears. 

Barbara Ann became a born-again believer in the early 80's.  She joined Bethel Bible Believing Church of God, and in the early 90's the Lord called her to preach, and that was the beginning of her ministry to minister to the dying souls.

Barbara Ann also leaves to cherish: Sisters Bessie Mae Simmons (Elijah) of Bennettsville, SC, Julia Mae Bridges (Andrew) of Greensboro, NC, Alberta Wallace (Prince) of High Point, NC, Carolyn Allen (Emery) of High Point, NC, Diane Cowan (Avery) Greensboro, NC, Doreen Williams of Jamestown, NC, Patricia Tillman (Tony) of Greensboro, NC.; Brothers Jimmy Campbell (Flora Mae) of Bennettsville, SC, Willie Campbell (Mae) of Bennettsville, SC, Jerry Campbell of Bennettsville, SC, John Campbell (Queen Esther) of Effingham of SC, Donnie Williams of High Point NC, Daniel Williams (Blanche) of Gibson, NC, and Hamp Williams III of High Point, NC; Host of nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 12381 Old Johns Road, Laurinburg, NC.
