Charles Covington

On Dec. 12, 1958, Charles Covington (Gordon Edwards) was born to the late Sarah and Seymore Covington. Later in life he was raised by the late Norwood Grace. He was called home peacefully on Thursday June 30, 2022.

Charlies was a devoted man to his family, friends, and job. He was educated through Marlboro County public schools.

He attended a few Ministries throughout his life, hobby was fishing and working with his hands building many different things.

Charles was preceded in death by parents, one brother Gene Grace, Eugene Grace, one niece Diane Edwards, one nephew Antonio T. Covington.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one sister Edith (Lonnie) Kinney of Bennettsville, SC; five brothers Eli (Berth) Edwards of Jamaica, New York; Seymore Covington Jr. of Norwich, New York; Robert Covington and Bessie Bright, Charles Covington all of Bennettsville, SC; Annals Covington of Raleigh, NC and Lucy Rowell of ATL; Leo Covington of Wilmington, NC; one niece RaShida Kinney, seven nephews Marvin Edwards, LaQurone Kinney, JaMario Kinney, Michael (Claudia) Simmons, Eugene Jr. (Sharon) Grace Ronnie (Odessa) Grace and Carson Grace, a host of great nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. A good friend Ronnie Zimmerman and very special friends for many years Shirley Ann Douglas.
