Chenoa Robertson-Locklear Obituary

Chenoa Key’moni Robertson-Locklear imparted this life on June 21, 2016 at 8:08am, at Scotland Memorial Hospital, to her parents Christopher Locklear and Rickeya Robertson.

She was a beautiful 6lb 8oz baby who instantly stole the heart of everyone who loved her since they knew of her existence.

Chenoa was vibrant, intelligent, caring, kind, outgoing, loving, thoughtful, spontaneous, and pure in every way. Her heart was bigger than her body and the love she grew to have for people will forever be imprinted in their heart. Chenoa hit the ground running and never stopped. She had an energy that was transferable and instantly lit the room up with her charisma. She was a talker, and could hold conversations for hours about all the things she loved, places she wanted to explore, new things she learned that day, and so much more.

She quickly jumped into the role of big sister when her mother found out she was expecting. Her brother Phoenix arrived and they were conjoined at the hip until she took her last breath. The love and bond they shared was one just like in the movies. They were truly best friends. Not long after Chenoa became a big sister again and she was over the moon to be adding two more girls to the team. Some older siblings have a hard time transitioning into this role but not Chenoa. Every time she filled her position with grace. Every time she stepped up for her mother and her siblings. She was the helper. She was the second mom in her eyes. She was our angel then and she is forever our angel now.

Chenoa loved her “brudda” as she called him to pieces, her sisters, her mama, her daddy, her “Uma”, her “OPA”, “MiMi”, “Uncle”, Grace & Precious, whom she always got mixed up with each other, her Boo Boo, her Grandma Naomi, her Aunt Ginny, her favorite cousins Little Kiya & Big Kiya as she called them, and so many other people. She asked about people daily. She wanted to call and check on people daily. She didn’t forget any details and she did not forget people. She was just that pure in every way. In four years she stole the hearts of many people, people related to her and people who were not. She met no stranger. The void that she left with all her family and friends on Earth will never fill the space she took up in our hearts. She is resting with the angels now and there is no better place for her outside her mother’s arms than in God’s.

Chenoa was preceded in death by a host of family members, most recently being her Grandmother Willa Dean McQueen
