Ernest Gurley

Ernest Gurley, III was born on December 4, 1968 to the late Ernest Jr. and Grady’s Gurley.

He developed a love for Jesus at an early age and joined Shiloh Baptist Church.

He graduated from Bennettsville High School in 1987. He was a person that had many trades. He worked at Musashi for eight years, drove trucks for several years, work at Mohawk until his health failed. He had a humble spirit and a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Ernest tried to mend hearts.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest Jr, an Glady’s Gurley. Grandparents Ernest Sr, and Mattie Gurley, Rosa Mae Taylor

Ernest departed this life at his residence on May 8, 2021.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Sherronica Gurley. Five children: Quintari Gurley, Scottavia Harlee, Davon Gurley (Shykiera) of Bennettsville, SC, Diamond Gurley, and Quinteesha Gurley of McColl, SC. Two sisters: Wanda Wright and Jennifer Gurley. One brother, Thomas Bradford. Seven grandchildren: Aaliyah Gurley, Tyshawn Quick, Kahmari Gurley, Zyyana Gurley, Jaden Gurley, Kelani Gurley, and Lahmauri Harrison. Father-in-law, Richard Adams, Sr. Mother-in-law, Deborah Adams. Brother-in-law Richard Adams, Jr. One Sister-in-law, Erikka Adams. Special uncles: Robert Lee Gurley and Dwayne Gurley. Aunts: Glenda Gurley, Brenda Bradford, and Dallas Gurley. Special nieces and nephews: Jai iynn Graham, Ari Adams, Clifford Covington, and Carter Adams. Special cousins: Donnie Brown, Renee Bradford. Best friend, Mike Bradford (Tonya). A host of cousins and many friends who loved him dearly.
