Fredrick Earl Cooper, Jr. known as Fred-Fred by everyone was born September 30, 1992. His life was abruptly ended in the early morning hours of June 16, 2020.
Fred-Fred grew up in Minturn and Dillon. He was the youngest of three boys. He attended Dillon Public Schools. He worked at M&A Sheet Metal roofing and Carolina Container in High Point, NC. Fred loved his family, especially his sons.
He had a smile to make you smile. He had such a humble spirit that drew people to him. Fred-Fred never met a stranger. He was popular with the old and young. He will be dearly missed.
Fred-Fred was preceded in death by his grandparents who helped raised him Deek and Iona Harley. He was also preceded in death by his nephew Ahmen King Cooper.
He leaves to cherish his memory of his life four sons: Zayden, Cendek, Zrederick and Carson; his girlfriend of nine years Khadijah Goodson all of the home; his mother Stephanie “Nicole” Harley (Mike) of Minturn; his father Fredrick Earl Cooper, Sr. of Laurinburg; brothers, Drederick Cooper (Tenisha) of High Point, NC; Marvin Cooper (Raj-Nee) of Minturn; sister RaNiyah Cooper of Laurinburg, NC; adopted sister Alisha Harley of Minturn; his grandmothers Sally Alford and Sawndell Harley; his goddaughters, Eris Locklear; his nephew Naquan Cooper; his aunts Mildren McRae, Dorothy (James) Bethea, Jacqueline Harley, Patricia Rivers, Wanda Harley, Amanda Harley, Selena Cooper and Rosa Harley; uncles Century Harley, Jr. Eddie (Lorene) Harley, Terry Harley, Allen Harley, Wayne (Gerrie) Cooper; his special aunt Lisa Jackson. Fred had many cousins raised in the home with him DeVesa Harley, Victoria McClain, Titeanna Bosic, Kendrell (Ashely) Harley, Antonio Harley, Telly Harley, Kataya (Anthony) Griffith, Carlos Lizano, Shawn Harley, Kyle McRae, Anthony Harley. Fred-Fred leaves two special cousins Kendell “Dilly” Harley and Jasmine Mearite. His special friends he called brothers, Eric Locklear, TJ Locklear, Dustin Jacobs, Lee Hubbert, Mark Huggins, and Lamar McLean. Fred’s other brother, Timothy Montrice Miles died along with him. Like a mother, Ms. Nancy Graces. A host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.
