With profound sorrow we announce the passing of Gathen Leggette who departed this life August 4, 2021 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 4pm at Bethea Funeral Home (exterior)

On Wednesday, August 4, 2021, Gathan “Bill” Leggette departed this earthly life at his resident in Clio, SC.

He was born October 11, 1957, in Dillon, SC to William Leggette Sr., and Lillie Mae Leggette. His passion was driving tractors and enjoying riding horses and being around his family.

He has two deceased brothers: Willie Leggette Jr., and Joseph Anthony Leggette. Two deceased sisters: Sadie Ruth Leggette and Willie Mae Leggette. One deceased nephew, Pelar Lee McRae, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories three brother Larry (Martha) Leggette of Little Rock, SC, Nathan Leggette of Hartsville, SC, and James (Teresa) Leggette of High Point, NC. One sister Ann Leggette of Clio, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
