Geneva Clasp, 93 was called to her resting place on December 23, 2020 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC. She was born on September 3, 1927 in Bennettsville, SC to Leroy and Annie Williams.
After high school, she moved to Brooklyn, New York and married Kenneth Clasp.
She accepted Christ and became a member of New Cannan Baptist Church in New York where she served faithfully as the President of the Senior Usher Board.
She worked in the Health Care Field as a Health Care Attendant in Brooklyn, NY.
Geneva loved puzzles, cooking, and her all time favorite, watching tv (especially Family Feud featuring Steve Harvey).
She was preceded in death by her mother: Annie Williams; father: Leroy Williams; husband : Kenneth Clasp; two daughters: Dorothy Bennett and Barbara Wilson ; one sister: Alberta Breeden; one grandson; Charles King.
Those left to cherish her memories are : grandchildren, Tanya Singleton and Roslyn Daly; Six nieces: Carolyn Shepard, Vanessa McIver, Vivian McIver, Patricia McIver, Robin McIver, Cheryl McIver ; three nephews: Ronald McIver, James Elliott McIver, Darren McIver; three foster children: Nene, Nana, Corey ; two special friends: Louise McLeod and Willie Mae McRae; A host of grand nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
