Gloria Brown

Gloria Katrina Brown was born on April 9,1976 in Dillon, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Annie Mae Brown and the late Carl Denis Townsend. She departed this life on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at McLeod Hospice Florence, South Carolina.

She attended Dillon and Marlboro County public schools. She graduated from Florence-Darlington Technical College. She was employed with Jackson Hewitt in Florence South Carolina. She joined Jesus Christ Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Velma Lewis.

Gloria was preceded in death by her sister Zenobia Brown, her dad Carl Denis Townsend, her maternal grandfather Sam Brown Jr., and her paternal grandparents Thelma Townsend McNair and James Willie

 McNair. her Aunts Jennie Townsend, Melissa McNair, Betty Malloy, and Gloria Bethea of Bennettsville, SC.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories three daughters Tanayasia, Diamond, and Quintashia Brown, and one Son Bernard Brown all of the home in Florence, SC; her mom Annie Mae Brown of Dillon, SC; grandmother Ida Mae (Bobby) Davis of Chesapeake, VA; sisters Tabitha Brown of NC, Towanda Adams of Rockingham, NC, Karen Brown of McColl, SC, NuShova (Monique) Brown-Spurs of Honolulu, Hawaii, Tina Carmichael of Dillon, SC, Zenobia Bostic of Chesapeake, VA, Angela (Rorie) Bethea of Bennettsville, SC, Nicole Davis of Dillon, SC,  Althea Loyd of Dillon, SC and her Mommy Annie Eula Davis of Dillon, SC, Ruthie Legette, the twins Lawanda and Lashanda; brothers Rafael (Yvette) Brown of Fairfax, SC, Phorode Brown of Columbia, SC, Carlos (Vera) Dixon of Clio, SC, Anthony (Tiffany) Dixon of Gastonia, NC, Danny (Sharon) Davis of Latta, SC, Darrell McDuffie of Greensboro, NC; one grandson Carter Brown-Adams of the home; special uncles Mark (Alice) Paige of Mullins, SC and Larry Mallory of Dillon, SC, and James and Johnny McNair, and Joseph Smith of Latta, SC; her aunts, Jeanette White of Charlotte, NC, Gloria Bethea of Bennettsville, SC, Thelma Carmichael, Joyce Ann McInnis Carolyn (Charlie) McNeil, Barbara Johnson all of Dillon, SC, Sandra McNair of High Point, NC.
