Henry Smith Jr

Henry Smith was born April 21, 1934 to the late John and Mary Britt Smith in Clio, SC.

He was a farm worker for many years, he was a member of St. Peter AME Zion Church. He loved riding his bicycle until his health declined, he loved working in his garden, he was a very friendly person, he never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents the late John and Mary Britt Smith. Sisters Pearl Anderson, Janie Lee McRae, and Mary Adams. Brothers, Sam Smith, Curtis Smith, John Willie Smith, James Smith, and Nathaniel Smith.

Henry Smith departed this life at the home in Clio, SC on April 4, 2021.

He is survived by one son Curtis Smith of Vass, NC. Sister-in-law, Mary Ann Smith of Fayetteville, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him very much, a special friend Darren Bennett who visited him often.
