Isaac Robinson

With profound sorrow we announce the passing of Isaac Robinson who departed this life July 20, 2021 in Laurinburg, NC.

 A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Bethea Funeral Home. 

Isaac Robinson, affectionately known as "June" was born to the late Sylvester and Lillie Mae Robinson on January 31,1936.

He attended the public schools in Bennettsville, SC.  And for many years, he was employed with the City of Bennettsville.

He was a member of Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Isaac was better known as the father of the neighborhood whom you could go to for advice and even a good laugh.  He could also be found sitting under the tree in his favorite spot before his health began to demise.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers: Willie James, Joseph, and Jacob Robinson.

 On July 28, 1963, he married Virginia Campbell and to this union 5 children were born.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Virginia Robinson of the home. John (Anne) Robinson of Bennettsville SC, James (Susan) Robinson of Conyers, Georgia; Audrey (Ron) McRae of Bennettsville, SC, Barbara Robinson of Bennettsville, SC, and Michael Robinson of the home. One sister, Betty (Leroy) Campbell and one niece Tammy Campbell, of Southern Pines, NC. One sister-in-law Sandra Easterling. Two brothers-in-law, Clyde (Gloria) Morris of Bennettsville, SC and Alexander Alford of Wilmington, NC. Eight grands and ten great-grands. Two special friends, Lorenzo Toms and Ricky Allen. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
