Janice Thomas

Janice Lou Thomas daughter of the late Helen Louise Thomas and Andrew Thomas Jr. was born on July 18, 1965 in Bennettsville, SC.

Early on April 23, 2021 she answered her Master’s call and entered her heavenly home.

She graduated from Clio High School in 1983.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bennettsville, SC. Where she served on many organizations such as the Usher Board, Jubilee Choir, and G.E.W. Ensemble, and Missionary Society, Girl Scout Troop 44D, Berea Center Association Mass Choir and U.V.O.P. until her death.

Janice was such a loving person with a big heart and great spirit. She showed outstanding love to everyone whom she came in contact with. She was employed with Marley Engineer Products for almost 20 years until her health declined.

Left to cherish her wonderful memories are: her children Tranesha Thomas, LaTroy Thomas, and CaBresha Smith all of the home. A Special son Bruce Locklear of Conway, SC. Two grandchildren: Keomonte and Al’tereius Pratt of the home and Kaison Thomas of Laurinburg, NC. Three special grandchildren Sequoia, Aniyas, and Seriyah Locklear of Laurinburg. A spoiled great grandson Josiah Pratt of Cheraw, SC. A godchild Madison Hicks of Bennettsville, SC. Four sisters Ethel (Jerome) Williams of Bennettsville, SC, Isadora (Eddie B) Covington, Sarah Thomas, and Ethel Bell (Hamer) McRae all of Clio, SC. Two brothers Andrew (Kaline) Thomas Jr. of High Point, NC and James (Tyresea) Thomas of Bennettsville, SC. A sister-in-law Elizabeth Thomas. Two aunts Mary Williams and Daisy Brown of Bennettsville. A very Special friend Angela Hailey of Bennettsville, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
