Jaswan Malik Williams was born in Bennettsville, SC on January 23, 1998. He departed this life on August 8, 2020.

Jaswan was affectionately known as J.J. and Rocky by his family and friends, was a graduate of Marlboro County High School in the class of 2017.

Jaswan was a loving son, brother, friend, and most of all father. He loved and adored his children and most of the time when you saw him, you also saw his kids. He was a hard worker and strived very hard to take care of his family. They meant the world to him and you could often hear him say to them… I Love You. He was also very comical and enjoyed roasting his family and friends and that laughter will surely be missed.

Jaswan was preceded in death by his grandfather, James L. Sellers and godfather, Frank Williams.

Left to cherish his loving memories are his children, one daughter, Serenity Campbell, two sons, Kaydain Williams and Ry’Lan Williams of the home, Mother Cynthia Sellers, of Bennettsville, SC. Father Kevin Williams of Laurinburg, NC. Three brother DaJohn Sellers, Rasson Williams and Cyheim Gandy all of Bennettsville SC. Fiancé, Peggy Mayner of the home. One niece, E’mani. Five nephews, Kyrie, Jayden, DyKeem, Mason, and Khristopher. Grandparents, Veronica Sellers of Bennettsville, SC, Shack (Wanda) Wright of Culpepper, VA. , Joyce (Theodore) Harrington of Laurinburg, NC. Six aunts, Melissa Anderson of Bennettsville, SC, Jean (Aaron) Neal of Morven, NC, Laura Ingram of Bennettsville, SC, Nicole Williams of Laurinburg, NC, Tomika Stroman of Manasseh, VA., and Sharon McNeil of Laurinburg, NC. Eight uncles Stacy Anderson and Renaldo Anderson of Bennettsville, SC, James Pratt of Wadesboro, NC, Fabian (Stephanie) Williams of Florence, SC, Liddell (Robin) Williams of High Point, NC, Frederick (LaShony) Williams of Monroe, NC, Gregory (Priscilla) Stroman of Gainesville, VA, and Alvis Stroman of Orange, VA. Godmother, Mary Williams of Bennettsville, SC, two men who played a special role in his life, Efren Gandy of Raleigh, NC, and Jackie Kollock of Bennettsville, SC, and a host of great aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
