Jerry Murphy

Jerry was born June 4, 1961 to the late Monnie Quick Murphy and James D. Murphy in Marlboro County, SC. He departed this life November 15, 2020 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon, SC.

Jerry was educated in the public schools of Marlboro County. He worked for York Tree Service until his health failed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Dwayne Murphy, and Barbara Murphy Buie.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his lovely wife Cathy Richardson of the home; two stepsons, Quinton (Christine) and Demarkest (Felicia) of Bennettsville; siblings, Sylvia Murphy and Tauris Murphy of Bennettsville, SC and Jimmy Murphy of Pageland, SC; two sisters-in-law Terri (Anthony) Burnes and Debbie Easterling of Bennettsville, SC; four brothers-in-laws, David, Leonard and James of McColl, SC, and Donald Anderson of Gibson, NC; a very special nephew, Antonio M. Anderson aka AJ and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
