John Louis Leake

John Louis Leake (Skeet) was born December 13,1948 to the late John & Mary McQueen Leake.

He is proceeded in death by two sets of twin sisters Cathy Douglas and Carolyn Leake, Linda Leake and Glenda Leake.

On Tuesday, March 6, 2021 in Columbia, SC at Providence Health Hospital God called John to exit his earthly home and enter his heavenly home.

John accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and joined Spears United Methodist Church in Bennettsville, SC. He received his education from the Marlboro County Public School District.

He had the love for football he was voted MVP. When he lived in Grant Pass, Oregon.

John leaves to Cherish his memories two daughters. Stacey M. Townsend (Donald), Nakia M. Blue both of Bennettsville, SC. One son Elmarcus Leake of Jamaica Queens NY. Two sisters Patricia Leake of Bennettsville, SC and Claretta L. Coats of Baltimore, Maryland. Three Brother Melvin Leake of Bennettsville, SC, Harvey Leake (Marian) of Douglasville, GA, and Michael Leake (Angela) of Canton, GA.  Six Aunts Clara Mae Davis of Baltimore, Maryland, Lizzie Moody (William), Hazel David, and Dorothy McQueen all of Bennettsville, SC, Lillian Fullwood and Dorothy Williams both of Trenton, NJ. Six Grandchildren Olajuwon Ford, Jada Ford, Lafabien Hicks, Ari Miles, Kenneth Blue Jr and Kiaeem Blue. Four great grands. Several children that reared as his Samuel (Lavonne), Tahyduann (Livinne) Lachanz (Charles), Katarie and India. Godchildren: Ann (Omar), Sherman, Constance, Bryant, Gregg (Lynn), Patrick (Crystal) and Eric.  Several Special friends Martha McLaughlin, Carol Adams, and Janie Reid. A host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives, and friends who will greatly miss him.
