Johnny McKinnon Obituary

Mr. Johnny Lee McKinnon, son of the late Mary Helen Peterkin and James McKinnon, was born on January 19, 1961, in Marlboro County, SC.

He attended McColl area school, was a member of the military, and was a devoted brother and uncle.

Johnny Lee McKinnon departed this earthly life on June 13, 2022, at his home, Clio, South Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his love and fond memories: sisters, Bobby Helen Palmer of the home and Viola Ratley of Dillon, SC; brothers, Minister Everette McKinnon (Naomi) of Dillon, SC, James McKinnon Jr. of McColl; seven aunts: Annie B. Peterkin, Annie M. McLeod, Linda McCall, Mabel Lemon (Mike) all of McColl, SC, Doris Walker of Laurinburg, NC, Mildred Spears (James) of Dillon, SC, Mary J Phillips, special uncle Curtis L McLain of McColl, three special nephews, Reginald McKinnon, Jermaine McKinnon, Jamal McKinnon; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; special friend, Veronica of Bennettsville, SC. He will be greatly missed.
