Lucille Wilson

Lucille Wilson was born on July 12, 1956 in Bennettsville, South Carolina to the late Uzee Short and Robert Short. She was educated in the Bennettsville, South Carolina School System and moved to Durham in 1985.

Lucille Wilson went home to be with the Lord on July 1,2020, after dealing sickness and health challenges in this earthly life, to dwell in a place where there will be no more sorrow, suffering nor pain.

Left to celebrate her life and cherish her precious memories are-Her two sons Maurice Short, Tyrone Short of Spring Lake, North Carolina and one Stepson Jason Williams of Greensboro, North Carolina. One Daughter -in- law Christy Key of Springfield, Kentucky. Seven grandchildren James Short in heaven, Brandon Smith, Maurice Short Jr., Ja’Deyen Short, Jalil Smith, La’Dymon Key, Onesti Short all of Springfield, Kentucky. She also leaves behind three siblings-Rose Zigeler of Brooklyn New York, Lucinda Pettiford of Brooklyn, New York, Burnett Curtis of Wilmington, North Carolina. Aunt Lucille also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
