Marlboro Terry Jr. Obituary

Marlboro Ellsworth Terry, Jr. was born on January 17th, 1960 to the late Marlboro E. Terry Sr. and Savannah B Bradford in Bennettsville South Carolina. On early Saturday morning December 12th, he was called to his heavenly home for eternal rest.

Marlboro was educated and graduated from Lincoln High School in Clio SC. After graduating he enlisted in the United States Air Forces where he enlisted for four years. After returning back home from serving our country he made a positive impact in our community and county. Marlboro loved his hometown of Clio.

At an early age Marlboro was converted and joined St. Peters AME Zion Church in Clio, SC Marlboro was a faithful, devoted, and hardworking member. Marlboro worked faithfully with St. Peters church family and all other churches in his district and out of his district.

Marlboro worked in Law enforcement in Marlboro County for years under different sheriff leadership wherever he was he made an graceful appearance. Marlboro also was a truck driver for years, leased to different companies, and this was his 2nd career that he loved.

Marlboro also attended NETC in Cheraw SC, where he met a host of friends and relatives.

Marlboro was preceded in death by his Parents, Grandparents Maternal and Fraternal. Also, one brother Ernest (Pete) McRae in 1981.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his son Algernon (Dana) Terry of Clio, SC. Two brothers Edward (Peggy) Spears of Clio, SC, and Johnny (Denise) Eden also of Clio, SC. Three sisters Yuvonnie Clark of New Jersey, Sherelle (Rev. James) Breese of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, and Betty Brown of New York. Two Granddaughters Nakaiya and Myra Hunt of Clio, SC, and Lumberton, NC. Also, Marlboro leaves to reflect on his life are a host of Nieces, and Nephews one very special Nephew Shyheem Spears (his twin). He also leaves other special relatives and friends to reflect on his life to multiple to name at this time.

To know Marlboro, you knew where you stood in his life. Marlboro cared for everyone and was will help anybody. May the, works I have done speak for me.
