Minnie Sue Locklear

Minnie Sue Locklear affectionally known as Pat was born in Maxton, NC on February 5, 1945.

She departed this life on Sunday, August 30th, 2020. She was the daughter of Billy Locklear, Arch Ransom, and Minnie Strong Ransom.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, and sisters Martha Leviner and Betty Raeford.

Pat Enjoyed cleaning most of her life emphasizing her favorite quote “Dirt Don’t Have No Holiday!

Her favorite thing to do was cruise the town on her moped, visiting her best friends Martha, Johnny,  Etta and Don. She spent her final days surrounded by family enjoying love, laughter, crabs, and junk talk.  She will be missed dearly by many. She made a lasting impression on everyone she encountered

She is survived by her son Patrick Locklear and daughter-in-law Charlene. One brother Timothy Ransom, three stepsons Eddie, Rock, and Jackie. Two grandchildren Brittany Locklear and husband Marcus and Patrick Locklear Jr. and wife Brittany. Pat loved taught life lessons to her great grandchildren An’ana, Janiah, Marcus, Halley, Shyla, Mya, and Jaxon. Her adopted grandchildren Chelsea (Bae), Logan, and scrappy. Two nieces, Stacy, and Brandy. Four nephews Tommy, Jerry, Mark, and Gaitin. She also leaves behind a host of friends and family.
