Quincy Adams Obituary

Quincy Adams ,55, of Bennettsville South Carolina, died on Tuesday October 27, 2020 at MUSC Hospital in Charleston SC. He was born on October 05, 1965, in Bremerton Washington the son of the late Fred Adams of Clio SC and Ola Mae Adams.

Quincy graduated from Bennettsville High School with the Class of 1984. He also served in the US Army. He joined Shiloh Baptist Church when he was a child. He was ordained to be a deacon at Open Door Outreach Ministries, which he truly loved and enjoyed his church. Quincy was well known throughout his community growing up for his lavish Michael Jackson Imitation Performances where he mesmerized crowds. His gift was making everyone that he encountered laugh or leave with a smile.

On May 26, 2013 Quincy married the love of his life Amber Adams.

Quincy was preceded in death by the late Fred Adams and his brother Warren Adams, MacArthur Adams, and Grandparents of Luella Briggs.

Quincy leaves to cherish his memories of his loving wife Amber Adams; mother Ola Mae Adams, of Bennettsville; one daughter Quintesha Adams, of Florence SC; one son Quincy (Chocka) Adams  Jr, of Bennettsville SC,; step children Mccablynn Steltzner and Kelly Ann Steltzner of Rock Hill SC,; two grandsons  Quintez Moore; and Quincey Adams of Bennettsville SC; one granddaughter, Destiny Shaw; seven sisters Vivian Adams of Queens New York, Francine Adams of Queens New York, Sharon Adams Covington of Bennettsville SC, Katherine Denise (Niecy) Adams of Bennettsville, Francine (Terry) Jackson of Columbia, Brenda Morst of Charlotte NC, Queen Harris of Newport News VA, Six brothers Alfred Adams of Atlanta Ga, Lorenzo Adams of Las Vegas NV, Eric Adams of Bennettsville SC, Clifton Adams (Karen Dismal Adams) of Bennettsville SC, Fred Adams Jr of Newport News VA, Frazer Adams (Breginia) of Baltimore MD,; sister-in-law, Yvonne Adams of Orlando FL,; and a host of many other nieces, nephews and family members.
