Russell Allen

Russell Lee Allen, 56, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, December 20th, 2021, with his family by his side.

Born in Dillon County, SC on December 1st, 1965, he was the son of Homer B Allen and Christine Allen.

His hobbies included spending time with his grandchildren, playing horseshoes and cards with his best friend, Robert “Curly” Goins and buddies and he enjoyed working at Nic’s Pic Kwik in Maxton, NC.

He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Mother Christine Allen, Father Homer Allen, sister Mary Mumford, and brother Paul Allen.

He is survived by his wife Lena Allen of 35 years, daughter Andrey Allen and sons Lee Allen (Ashley), Josh Allen (Maggie), and Noah Allen. Grandchildren: Abraham Hozam, Layton Allen, Kinsleigh Allen, and Sarah Allen. Three brothers and three sisters: Homer B. Allen Jr. (Judy) of Asheboro NC, Diane McKenzie of Sellers, SC, Bruce Allen (Sylvia) of Chester, SC, Shelby Hyatt (Paul) of Dillon, SC, James Ray Allen (Carey) of Trinity, NC, and Vickie Allen (Curtis) of Trinity, NC. A sister in laws Shelia Allen of Chester, SC. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
