Steven Breeden Obituary

Steven Israel Breeden was born on February 25, 1992 in Bennettsville, SC. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 27, 2020. Steven was the son of the late Marguerite Breeden and Steven Camlin. He grew up in a large family, full of love  and devotion.

Steven attended the public schools in Marlboro County. He enjoyed working and meeting new people. He never met a stranger. The jobs he occupied at McDonald’s and most recently, Taco Bell, afforded him the opportunity to share his exuberant personality with those he encountered. Steven was an affectionate and humble young man who loved his son and family greatly.

During his youth and through adulthood, Steven attended St. Luke Fire Baptized Holiness Church (now Word of Life Christian Center Ministries), Word of Life Christian Center Ministries and other local churches. Steven was musically inclined and blessed many churches through his ministry of playing the drums. Steven was a member of Kingdom Healing Ministries of Bennettsville. At an early age he accepted Jesus as his personal savior and later recommitted his life to Christ.

Preceding Steven in death were his grandparents, Viola Breeden, the late Clarence McDonald, Areatha Breeden, Juanita Moore, Elasteen Dupree and aunt, Joan Lundy.

Steven leaves to cherish his memories: his adorable son Genesis Isaiah McLeod; his father Steven Camlin from McColl, SC; devoted brothers Casaan (Ryan) Breeden of Raleigh, NC, twins Matthew and Marcus Breeden of Bennettsville, SC, Steven Camlin Jr. of Cheraw, SC and Isaac Camlin of Baltimore, Maryland; great-grandfather Henry Prince of Bennettsville, SC; adoring aunts Olivia Breeden (special aunt) of Bennettsville, SC and Kim (Bryan) Dockery of Laurinburg, NC; uncles Willie Breeden of Bennettsville, SC (his favorite uncle “Boo Boo” with whom he spent a lot of time), Dr. Gregory Breeden of Greenville, SC and Marvin Breeden of Greensboro, NC; great- great aunt Betty Lou Laidlaw; great aunts Zettie Mae Fuller and Sophia Parker of High Point, NC, Virginia (Linward) Lloyd of Brooklyn, NY, Lisa (James) McLean of Bennettsville, NC, Mildred (Herbert) Gould of Bennettsville, SC, Nellie Roberts of Brooklyn, NY; great uncles Willie Breeden of Brooklyn, NY, Charles Breeden of Bennettsville, SC and Bernard Breeden of Elizabeth, NJ; nieces and nephews Jamere McNeil, Casaan Breeden Jr, Rylee Breeden and Cannon Breeden; first cousins Shawn (Ashley), Crystal (Antonio), Maurice (LaTrell), Antionette (Shawn), Deyonna, Ra'sheema, Regina, Alexis, Geniya, Tavorus, Gregory, Lamont, Jarius; second cousins Ta' Naysha, Da' Niya, Mason, Vontrell Jr, Lola and Hazel; and a host of other cousins, family and friends.
