Thomas Charles Lowe Jr

Thomas Charles Lowe, Jr., son of the late Thomas “TC” Lowe and Helena Thompson Lowe, was born on July 20, 1939, in Bennettsville, SC. He fell asleep in death on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at McLeod's Medical Center in Dillon, SC.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: James Clavon and Edward Lowe; one sister: Beatrice Purvis.

Tom attended Marlboro County public schools for his educational training. At an early age, he dedicated his life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's witnesses. He later moved to Brooklyn, NY where he was employed as an automotive salesman.

Tom enjoyed fishing, riding his bike, collecting hidden treasures, and early morning breakfast at McDonald's and Carl’s with his friends.

Left to cherish his loving and lasting memories are Connie (Marion) McLaurin of Birmingham, AL, Randolph McLaurin of Decatur, AL, Timothy (Greta) Lowe of Hillsboro, Al, and Furman (Wilhemina) McLaurin of Bennettsville, SC; three sisters: Janette (Roosevelt) Williams. Sylvia (Eddie) Chaplin, and Sandra Lowe all of Bennettsville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
