Willie James Covington

Willie James Covington, the son of the late Willie Covington and Lillie Mae McCollough Covington was born March 15, 1970.

He attended the public school in Bennettsville, SC and later received his diploma and his CDL. He drove trucks for K.D. Trucking for many years.

He was preceded in death by both parents and one sibling Patricia Ann Covington.

On January 14, 2020, God saw an angel that was ready to be with Him.

He leaves to cherish hie memories five children: Tyreik Sa’Quane Covington of McColl, SC, Jameicia Shy’Kerra Covington of Elizabethtown, NC, Ya’Nihjla Briann Kelise Covington of High Point, NC, DeVareon L. McBride of Lexington, NC, Jymere Sincere Covington of Bennettsville, SC, Razek Peterkin of Bennettsville, SC that he raised from three months old. Four grandchildren: Emonee’ TaSheanna Dargan of Bennettsville, SC, Thailan Chapman of Shelby, NC, Monte’ Jo’Siah Covington of Little Rock, SC and Onyx Ja’Da Elliott of Elizabethtown, NC. A special uncle, James Covington “Johnny Bear” of Bennettsville, SC. Two best friends, Daniel Peterkin and Timothy Sinkler. A special friend, Linzy Vazques. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 310 Mills Street, Bennettsville.
