Charles Lee Williams was born in Clio, South Carolina on February 29, 1952. He was born to Lillie Mae Williams and the late Alexander Williams. He was the youngest of two sisters and one brother.

Charles was educated in the schools of Marlboro County
Time to Love:
Charles was a lovable person. He loved attending revival services and supporting his nephew Rev. Williams
Time to Labor:
Charles was family oriented; being a family man that provided for his family. He worked several jobs, Rowland Woodmil in Rowland, NC, Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, NC, and Smith Field Packing in Tarheel, NC.
Time to Rejoice:
At an early age, Charles accepted Christ as his personal savior and joined New Zion AME Zion Church.
Time to Mourn:
His Father, Alexander Williams; four aunts, Donella (Danarchie) Williams, Rosa Mae (Elijah) McCall, Macy (James) Hardy, Queen Ester (Moses) Dupree, and Carrie Harley of Patterson, NJ.
Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted. Charles was a cancer survivor in 2009. In 2017 he respiratory distress which led to his health declining. On June 17, Charles departed this life.
Left to cherish his memories his one and only daughter, Adelia Renee Smith; two grandchildren: Zhe’Quan McInnis, and Zyleiah Smith all of Greensboro, NC; his mother, Lillie Mae Williams of the home; two sisters: Shirley Mae Williams of Dillon, SC and Eunice (Johnny) Williams of McColl, SC; one brother, Johnny Lee Williams of McColl, SC; three aunts: Leanna McLaurin of Atlanta, GA, Mary (Henry) Bethea and Costella Willis both of Washington, DC; fifteen nieces and nephews; fifty great nieces and nephews; seventeen great- great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family is receiving friends at 3265 Park Wood Road, Dillon.
