I just learned of his passing and my deepest condolences to the family. I first met James as a new CO at the center, which he was always helpful and a positive leader in my new career endeavor. Not everyone can work with inmates, however, due to his support and dedication to me - I exceled in the position. We became friends and he very supportive during some difficult times I had while living in Bennettsville, however, as life separates friendships - my memory of him was always fond. I'll never forget you my friend and may God comfort and protect you and your family. Rest in Peace.
